1. Experience the Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill

Start your morning with one of Canada’s most iconic traditions: the Changing of the Guard ceremony, now back on Parliament Hill. This military ritual is a symbolic transfer of authority as one guard unit is relieved by another. At 10:00 AM, watch the precise drills and listen to the music of the Ceremonial Guard – a memorable way to begin your day.

2. Celebrate at LeBreton Flats: Noon Ceremony & Evening Show

Head over to LeBreton Flats Park, the new hub for Canada Day’s official ceremonies. The National Noon Ceremony begins at 12:00 PM, featuring inspiring speakers, cultural performances, and live music that celebrates the diversity and spirit of Canada.

Throughout the day, there are plenty of activities happening at LeBreton Flats for all ages to enjoy. The celebrations continue into the evening with the Canada Day National Evening Show from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This lively concert features performances from artists across the country, bringing together song, dance, and celebration in a show broadcast live nationwide.

3. Family Fun at the Supreme Court of Canada

Canada Day at the Supreme Court of Canada offers a full day of family-friendly fun in a unique and historic setting. From 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM, visitors can take part in yoga sessions, drumming workshops, creative art activities like painting, and more. In celebration of the Court’s 150th anniversary, there will also be free guided tours and special exhibits - offering a great mix of hands-on fun and a chance to explore Canada’s judicial history.
